In May of 1991, a 34-year-old woman was found dead inside her car after it appeared to have veered into a ditch in her small Texas town. But investigators quickly zeroed in on a person of interest, believing she was murdered. With an arrest lagging and her family wondering if police corruption was involved, her dad put up multiple pointed billboards that would go on to inspire an Oscar-winning movie.  This is the murder of Kathy Page.

In April of 2011, a 20-year-old nursing student was abducted from her rural Tennessee home in broad daylight, her brother as a witness. Three years later, her remains were discovered in nearby woods, leading to a controversial investigation and multiple convictions in one of Tennessee’s most haunting murder cases.
