What makes Peggy stand out from the Robert the Dolls and Annabelles of the world is that people don't even need to be in the same room — hundreds of people who have watched videos, looked at photos, or even just scrolled past her image online have reported immediate headaches, nosebleeds, chest tightness, heart palpitations, and violent illness shortly after making eye contact with her blue eyes on a screen.

The Haint | Paranormal Podcast

This week, we headed down to the Lowcountry to dig into one of the South's most fascinating and frustrating paranormal entities — the haint — which depending on who you ask is a ghost, a demon, an evil spirit tied to the earth, or honestly all of the above, rooted in the rich and deeply important traditions of the Gullah Geechee people and a blend of African, European, and Creole folklore that stretches from Wilmington all the way down to St. Augustine.

The Haunted Lemp Mansion | Paranormal podcast

This week, we dive into one of America's most genuinely tragic haunted locations — the Lemp Mansion in St. Louis — starting with a German immigrant named Adam Lemp who built a beer empire from a grocery store and a network of natural limestone caves, and tracing the family's meteoric rise through his son William turning it into a national powerhouse with a 33-room Victorian showplace, an underground ballroom, a heated swimming pool, a bowling alley, and enough debauchery beneath the city streets to fill several true crime podcasts.

Then came the part that makes this story different from most haunted house episodes — four members of the same family, across four decades, died by suicide inside the same walls, including a man who shot his dog before turning the gun on himself and a daughter whose revolver ended up 10 feet across the room from her body with no explanation anyone could agree on.

We wrapped up with the ghost lore — the lavender perfume that drifts through empty rooms, the little boy in the attic window, and the woman in the Victorian dress sitting on the edge of a bathtub at 3 am.
