Paradox: A Mage the Ascension Podcast

Heads up about this episode - it's not perfect.

Of course, my carefully planned return went to pieces the moment I looked away. I found an issue with Episode 31 and so figured I'd fix it and edit it quickly while I was out of town given that I had access to everything I needed access to - boy was I wrong! I forgot the edited version of the episode, so had to cobble something together AND I forgot some important things like the wifi dongle to let my desktop go online and authenticate the subscription our corporate overlords insist we buy....<sighs> I managed to find an open source editing program that I could use from my laptop at least (not Audacity, I had to do it from my web browser because it's a work laptop shhhh), so I could at least get you all something today. However, I am <well> aware that the pacing of my sentences is off, the sound is off where I obviously re-recorded some lines and, well, it's just not up to my usual audio editing standards.

I still wanted to get this out on time though, and once I get back to my usual setup I can get a do-over and reupload it.

Sorry for the potato audio, maybe the content will at least make up for it though.

Well. That was certainly. A break.

If you're still here, thank you. I'm sorry I had to deal with a lot of life all suddenly, and this example isn't quite up to snuff (particularly the ending, but that's another story), but it's here. Finally. We're back baby!

 

I do recommend re-listening to Episode 29 before this, as I literally clipped this out of that episode and therefore don't explain everything again. However, I also managed to accidentally save Episode 29 as a Draft, which meant I had to republish it.....So if you're wondering why it showed up again, apparently my subconscious needed you to remember it! Or something. Maybe I'm just tired....That's probably it.
