Healing The Spirit: Astrology, Archetypes & Artmaking

When it comes to heart, we’ve been fucked by Disney.
The heart is a ferocious organ of perception. It’s the center of wisdom, intelligence, and the repository of the person’s life. Not some mushy, diluted, spiritualized branding to slap on.
As old ways of relying on the mind as ruler of everything is clearly breaking down, we’re craving new ways of being.
The heart is the answer. But its intelligence may completely baffle you.
In this episode, I share some signs that your heart is activating. These signs may be surprising because our minds aren’t accustomed to associating them with the heart.

On the surface, Venus and Mercury are flirting, playing, and cajoling with the outer planets. But underneath, there’s a more profound lesson at play.
Interdependence is a tricky concept. We’re so immersed in our resistance to skillful relationality, so we instead toggle back and forth between codependency and hyper-independence.
How do we behave in ways that reflect the interconnected nature of our wellness, liberation, love, and truth?
How do we collaborate without holding ourselves back?
How do we truly and intentionally bring out the best in one another?

Welcome to August!
We discussed three themes for August 2026:
* Power is relational.
* Prioritize your heart.
* Surrender into the mystery.
This month, we’re being asked to listen deeply. To pay attention to what truly wants to be communicated and expressed beyond the words.
We’re also asked to understand and experience our heart expansion more deeply. The journey is ecstatic, euphoric, and sometimes excruciating, and the reward of choosing the heart is that new doors will open for you.
Finally, we’re walking into eclipse season in August, and there’s major shedding that would like to occur in our lives. This is not failure. This is a graduation point. Stay close to your spiritual practice, trust the Inner Sage, and let the big emotions move through, so you can make space for the new.

Somehow, you’ve found yourself in the thick of the drama of life.
Feelings getting hurt.
Misunderstandings abound.
The stakes feel high.
You can choose to fight the experience. Find someone to blame. Work hard to find the ‘right’ solutions.
