The Monsanto Company, the leading company involved in the controversies surrounding this issue is discussed and their practices examined. They also cover their involvement in the March Against Monsanto protest held in on October 12, 2013. Matt and Mike participated in the March held in Creve Coeur, Missouri at the Monsanto World Headquarters Building.

The discussion morphs into our freedoms, those who work hard to preserve them, and why our apathy here is detrimental. They touch on the government shutdown and relate how the actions of our leaders are hurting us in the international arena. Matt uses his vast finance knowledge to tell us how our nation borrows money, and how it is affected by the government shutdown. Later, they follow up on the chemtrail conversation and add a little more information to the discussion. And as always, there are a couple of truisms.

  This episode takes us on an entertaining walk with video games. After a brief history of how video games have evolved, Matt and Mike work the question “why do video games appeal to us”. The hosts share with their listeners how video games have influenced and affected their lives by discussing how they were introduced to video games and how they have used them. Later, they ask the question “could video games be used, in some fashion, to benefit society?” Basically, is there some way we could add an additional dimension to the game play to provide some positive functionality for society? This discussion hopes to give the listener an expanded thought process on video games, introducing them to a possible social function for them.

  In the episode Matt and Mike take a look at how social media is used in our society. The discussion develops into talking about the importance and benefits of self-analysis and reflection in shaping ones own belief system. It is important for a person to understand who they are inside to truly understand how they feel on certain issues. Later on, Matt and Mike share some ideas on how social media could be used as a platform to benefit society as a whole. They throw down some ideas on how they would develop the medium if they had the funding to do so. Topics of discussion include: how social media is used, the limitless possibilities of the social media environment as a platform to bring an overall benefit to society, and the benefits and importance of self-analysis and inner reflection to develop ones belief system.

Here, Matt and Mike share with their listeners some of the issues they have faced thus far with Delta 9 Radio. Later, they plead with their listeners to please be patient with them while they figure out how to deal with some of these issues. This episode sees the debut of the term Snagglenexxus and how it relates to technology.
