COSMIKO: Neon Night is a neonpunk/cyberpunk audio fiction program straight from the underground. Dive into a cyberpunk future stitched together with neon lights, shotgun miracles, and dreamers too stubborn to quit. Except for this season, which is a special palate cleanser from what you're used. Leave your silicon and steel at the door for some sword and sorcery and a high-stakes audio-driven tabletop fantasy adventure. Tally-ho!
This season contains material unsuitable for younger listeners, including strong language and fantasy violence.
Listener discretion advised.

I knew this was gonna happen. It’s all my fault. Sorry.

My little boombox is basically done. Thanks for the parts, Marcano. See you in hell.

Ironbird Stadium’s gonna be a smoking crater in a few hours. I’ll bring it there. But Zheyuan. LISTEN. This job’s hell. You’ve put up with me for too long, and I never said it, but I liked that about you. Maybe in another life, I’d be learning Cantonese.

Yeah. Got your attention now? Good. Please don’t touch this job. Don’t think about it. Don’t do a thing.

Whether it goes right or wrong, I’m in way over my head. I could die. If I do, I’m going down angry. Suits, wires, the whole system is out here. Forget it. This is about me and Jackie. He ruined my life before it started. I’m just trying to grip it before it ends.

[If I Don’t Come Back: Forget about me. Delete everything.]

Dealing with that sleazy, host-club-looking powder dealer was the least of my worries. Stuff like this never happened when I had my shocker bat on me. Just my luck. What happened to only going up? Oh, that's right. I happened.

Yeah. A little dark humor for you. You used to be a triad. Laugh in the face of death, right?

Alright, this is getting messy. I’m not supposed to put up with this. I’m the one who makes the messes. Ironbird’s on deck. First, I gotta play go-fish or whatever-the-hell this toothpick in poker shades wants.

Last time I bopped him, he was more bark than bite. Let's hope history repeats itself.

Side note: This dude kinda reminds me of that dorky guy in the movie Evelyn made us watch. 21 Jump Street? The kid with the ramen hair. Is that what the old days were like? Tryhard gangoon. Whatever.

[If I Don’t Come Back: Kick Marcano’s ass into next year. Tell him I sent ya.]

Dreamt about him last night. Jackie. He was coughing on TV… and Mama never let me watch the games. But I could see a corner of the screen from behind the door. I was eight years old again. My head’s spinning.

I’m starting to hurt again. Bad. Probably a bad time to mention I ran out of factor shots. Since I’m not getting paid, I’m basically a girl made of glass. Everyone wants to take a swing at me. And if that’s how it is… I still gotta try.

Ironbird Stadium’s shaping up to be a suicide run if I don’t keep my head down.

[If I Don’t Come Back: Don’t worry about me. You can have the cerveza in my apartment. Just don’t touch my locker in Cage #14. That stays there.]
