There have been many milestone moments in what we have done here at the Chrono Passion 7 Podcast, but this has to be our proudest moment and most prominent show since we first hit record in 2023. 

The incredible guest in our latest episode is the one and only Jean-Claude Biver, who has been referred to in many circles as The Godfather, The Wizard of Watchmaking and The Saviour of the Swiss Watch Industry. Few figures have shaped modern horology with such force, vision and charisma.

In Part 1 of a two-part interview, we discover his influences, such as Georges Golay at Audemars Piguet, that guided Jean-Claude towards his unbelievable passion for watches and led him to finally start his eponymous watch brand, Biver, and how his much-loved son, Pierre Biver,   has become a huge part of that legacy and succession.
