- This week on Her Moment, is all about motherhood. I'm taking you into my day to day as a solo mom by choice to an almost three year old: how I plan our weeks on Sundays, why our afternoons are often more spontaneous than you would probably think, and the bedtime routine I built to work anywhere in the world.
I also share what might be an unpopular opinion. I don't think solo parenting is harder than parenting as two. I think it's hard in different ways. I talk about the weight of making every decision on your own, standing your ground with a doctor when your intuition tells you something is wrong, the physical reality of always being on, and why the mental load can actually feel lighter when it's just you and your child.
Whether you're a mom, pregnant or dreaming of motherhood someday, this episode is for you!

In this episode, I talk about why fall is my favourite season of the work year and how I set myself up to finish the year strong. Not by running myself into the ground, but by choosing one goal that really moves the needle and being honest about where my time goes.
I share how my business partner and I spent the first half of this year restructuring Impression PR into a more flexible, project-based agency, why that meant growing the business had to wait, and why the next 10 weeks are all about closing that gap.
In this episode:
Picking the one goal that matters most before Christmas
Working backwards: turning a goal into a weekly plan (with a real savings example)
Why a goal without a plan is just a dream
Being ruthless with your time, especially as a working mom
What to save for Q1 instead of doing now
A small Sunday ritual to map out your last 10 weeks
Your homework: make a cup of coffee, tea or matcha (or pour yourself a glass of wine), light a candle, and write down the one goal you want to reach before Christmas, plus the small weekly steps that will get you there. Then share it with me on Instagram if you want to! <3

In this episode of Her Conversations, I sit down with my friend and accountability partner Kristin Assaad: business lawyer, founder of LegalUp, host of LevelUp Podcast and, as she now proudly owns, content creator. Almost five years ago, Kristin packed up a life in Denmark that looked perfect on paper and moved to Dubai, and she hasn't craved a vacation since.
In this episode:
Outgrowing the box: why a good life on paper can still feel too small, and what made Kristin choose Dubai
That inner voice that gets louder the more you ignore it, and how to hold gratitude and ambition at the same time
How fast you can find your people when you move abroad
Kristin's ordinary Tuesday: eight hours of sleep, slow mornings, iced coffee, midday pool breaks with an audiobook, and work that doesn't feel like work
Redefining success: unlearning the version we were sold in our twenties and building one that actually fits the life we want now
How she grew her Instagram from around 3,000 to more than 60,000 followers this year with a clear strategy, trial reels and content pillars, and by treating it like a real job instead of a hobby
If you like this conversation, please feel free to share it with a friend who needs to hear some of these things!

See acast.com/privacy for more information. - Welcome to the first episode of Her Business, the new segment on Her Moment about entrepreneurship, careers and ambition, told through real stories. As millennial women, many of us were taught in business school and our first jobs that working ourselves to exhaustion was a badge of honor. The more hours, the more stress, the more valuable you were. Then many of us became moms and realized that model was never built for us. Recorded on a quiet Friday night at my summer house, this episode is about unlearning the hustle we were taught and rewriting what success at work should look like for women.
In this episode:
Why we feel we have to earn our rest, especially at home
Growing up between two worlds: the analog childhood and the always-on career
What business school and big corporate culture taught us to applaud
The honest truth about going back to work after maternity leave
Why women can't be measured by a model built for men, and why that isn't a weakness
Why flexibility for women is a smart investment for companies, not a favor
The weekly check-in and monthly self-date I think every woman needs
