Continuing in the Book of 1 John. The context of 1 John is the Son of God, God manifest in the flesh and the witness the believer has to the things of God

The believers strength and Joy is found in the faith that we have in Jesus Christ.

Continuing in the book 1 John

The believer has the witness of the Spirit of God by way of being born again, and John writes and reveals that the written word is the record that we have eternal life. The Word of God does not contradict the Spirit of God, nor does the Spirit of God contradict the written word of God.,

John reveals to us the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ, of which is the Mystery 1 Timothy 3:16, John 1:14 that God as manifest in the flesh.
