Don’s Pinball Podcast — MAKE MOUNTAIN DEW PINBALL!
Stern, build this game for the rest of us!
This episode kicks off with the incredible Mountain Dew pinball machine Stern built for Barstool Sports. But after seeing it, I have one big question: Why can’t WE buy one?
I make my case for Stern to take the Mountain Dew concept and turn it into a real production game available to the public. The theme, colors, artwork and pure ridiculous fun of Mountain Dew seem absolutely PERFECT for pinball. Stern — make the game and take my money!
Then things get paranormal…
I’ve officially asked Barrels of Fun for a knocker kit for Winchester Mystery House — but not just for replay knocks. I want to use the knocker to communicate with the spirit realm! 👻 Could the machine actually knock back at you as part of the experience? Winchester Mystery House seems like the perfect game to try it.
I also get into a bigger discussion about THEME INTEGRATION in pinball. I compare Stern, Spooky Pinball and Barrels of Fun to Disney, Universal and Six Flags and look at the very different ways each approaches immersing you in a theme.
Is it enough to put a great license on a great pinball machine, or should playing the game actually make you feel like you've stepped inside that world?
Lots to unpack in this one!

Don’s Pinball Podcast – Episode 258: Ghostbusters Remastered Rumors, D&D Accessories, Sonic Code & More!
This episode is packed with pinball news, reviews, rumors, and plenty of speculation!
I take a closer look at the new Dungeons & Dragons topper and accessories, including the pricing, what you actually get, and whether I think they’re worth the money. I also talk about the latest Sonic pinball code update and what it adds to the game.
Then it’s time for some Barrels of Fun speculation as I discuss what their next game could be, along with the latest news surrounding Winchester Mystery House and Bon Jovi pinball.
The biggest segment of the episode is all about the growing rumor that Stern Pinball may be working on a remastered version of Ghostbusters. I break down what’s being discussed, what a remaster could potentially include, and whether bringing Ghostbusters back would make sense for Stern.
As always, these are my opinions, reactions, and speculation based on the information currently making the rounds in the pinball community.

Episode 257 is here, and there’s a LOT happening in pinball this week!
I kick things off with some Bon Jovi pinball talk, including my thoughts on the game, the theme, and where things stand. Then we get into Cirqus Voltaire and the possibility of seeing this absolute classic return. Would a modern version capture what made the original so special?

And Tales of the Arabian Nights joins the conversation as we talk about another legendary title and what the future could hold for some of these Williams/Bally classics.
Plus, plenty of the usual tangents, opinions, rumors, and whatever else happens when I sit down behind a microphone to talk pinball!

Don’s Pinball Podcast – Episode 256: My Initial Thoughts on Fallout Pinball
Stern Pinball has finally revealed Fallout, and it’s time for my first full reaction to the machine!
In this episode, I break down my initial impressions of the game, including the artwork, cabinet presentation, playfield layout, shots, toys, theme integration, and overall design. Does the machine capture the strange, violent, retro-futuristic world of Fallout? Did Stern deliver something worthy of one of the biggest video game franchises of all time—or did the hype get ahead of the final product?
These are my honest first thoughts based on everything we’ve seen so far. As always, opinions may change once I get the opportunity to spend meaningful time playing the game.
Let me know what you think: Are you excited about Fallout pinball? Which model are you considering, and where does it rank among Stern’s recent releases?
